Nathaniel Birthday Party @ TPY 8th June 2013

This mischievous boy is borned on 13 June 2009 and this was his 4th birthday.

On his request, we had an "animal" themed party and held it at Toa Payoh the weekend prior to his actual birthday.

Isabel Neo in March 2012

My sweet daughter, Isabel Neo.

She was helping me test my new lens that afternoon 3/3/12.

The 35mm f/1.4 L lens from Canon.

Boon Keng, Toa Payoh, Bras Basah Niteshoot 02 Oct 2010

Another late night shoot.

Some close mates are envious of the spare time I have the luxury of owning.
Well, if you restrict the hours of sleep to less than 4 hours each day, you'd probably have the same extra of personal time as me.

In this exercise of chasing the extra time, it'd probably reduce my lifespan due to the irregular sleeping habit so I use it on capturing as much beautiful scenes that my eyes see. A trade off probably.

Most of the pictures below are captured using the Canon EF-S 10-22mm wide angle lens.

This last picture was digitally enhanced with GIMP by using its "unsharp mask" to sharpen the photo..
A bit too excessive, what do you think?

Citylights Bokeh 13th August 2010

Taken at my family's weekend mahjong haunt
[ Auntie Jaey's house at Toa Payoh ]

A magnificent view of the city can be seen from her flat on the 17th storey in Toa Payoh East.

This picture doesn't do justice to her flat's city view but I guess that's what my grandma sees each night, when she sits on her comfort chair at the balcony, without her glasses on.

What is Bokeh? It sounds hokkien!

Maid with Kids at Toa Payoh Playground

It was late afternoon and was set out with expired cashew nuts wanting to attract birds but in the end, the kids had a fun time at the playground instead.

I think the insects came for the scattered "bird food" much later at night.

No birds.. Only some candid portraits.

These 2 boys were desperate for screen time the moment they saw me take out my camera and pointing in their direction.

They must have hung for a couple of minutes before I decided to snap a few shots of them

I see the slide and I am curious!

Let me try, Let me try!!

Photobucket
I want to go down the slide!

Photobucket
I really really really want to try the slide!
